Kindness Connects

Dear reader, How are you? I hope you're finding inner peace in this troubling time. Consider writing your thoughts for posterity. No one alive ever experienced what we deal with daily. Writing is helping me make some sense of the confusion that the pandemic creates. You are very special to me. I love our connection from my mind to yours via words. I cherish the comments and stories from your mind to mine. Always a writer, I wrote the lyrics to my elementary school song. All through high school, I worked on the weekly school newspaper, becoming assistant editor to my friend, Ethel, Editor in Chief. Senior year, I became editor. At sixteen, a national magazine published my poem. In every stage of university, graduate school, and in varied professions, I wrote. Grant writing, accounts in a variety of academic journals, my newspaper column, my two books that I use in the seminars I present, all emphasis the value of the written word. Soon I'll complete Kindness Connects and share it at the June, July, and October events where planners invited me to speak. But even if you never wrote or haven't shared your written thoughts, today is the perfect time to begin.
