Great fun

So much is happening. Having lots of fun meeting participants at my presentations. The latest was the National Association of Social Workers national conference on September 26-28, 2019. Invited to lead the session on the power of reminiscence group work, I was delighted to interact with the participants. Their professional work in hospice, caregiver support, assisted living for those with memory loss, private practice, and other areas of the broad field gave them insight into mining memories. Within minutes we became a mini reminiscence group, sharing our experiences with clients, especially those rich moments that called upon the senses of hearing, tasting, touching, seeing, and smelling. Now I look forward to the October 10-12, 2019 International Quilt Conference at the Port Huron MI Convention Center. The Piece to Peace Cancer Quilt will be prominently displayed and I have been invited with my book Piece to Peace Cancer Quilt.
